Like "big guy's testimony" I went to see you guys and Kings-X in November of 98 in Nashville. I was with my first girlfriend after my divorce and spent a lot of hours driving up I-40 from Memphis to Nashville to see her. You guys were always in the car with me and your lyrics and music always spoke to my heart in a very deep and spiritual way. Not to put Kings-X down, but we didn't even stay for their show. I didn't figure it could get any better than what I saw with GC. There's nothing like listening to Wally's "at the end of the day-track 16" while viewing a pinkish red sunset traveling west on I-40 near Nashville. It's been almost 5 years and GC music still inspires me to this day.

When you guys split, I honestly cried..stupid huh? I can honestly say, as an artist and musician, that Galactic Cowboys forever changed my life in a very positive way. Most musicians know the record industry blows chunks. Those guys will never know how many people have been robbed of a blessing by not having new GC music to listen to, but then, most record company suits aren't into it for the positive influence on our kids; it's just the bottom line $$$$$$$$$$$. Too bad; with decent promotion and a little airplay support, they could have had both with Galactic Cowboys. I've rambled and I know it's late in the game, but I just wanted to pay a little tribute to some dedicated musicians whom I love like brothers I've never met; guys that have blessed me for over a decade of my exsistance.

May God bless you all,
Steve Dacus (axman57@msn.com)
