What horrible news doth our ear receive? The breakup of the best band in music history? Ouch! Our heart sinks to the floor....

Back in 1992 I went to see King's X in concert at the Henry Fonda theatre in Los Angeles. When we arrived, I noticed the name Galactic Cowboys along with King's X over the theatre entrance. I asked my wife, "who are these Cowboy guys?", she wasn't quite sure. Well, when you got on the stage it was then that I fell in love with my favorite band. Harmonic vocals, crunching guitars, I thought I was in heaven. It was so loud that it was if you were playing to God himself. I wanted to stay after the show in hopes to meet y'all but since my wife was pregnant at the time, she needed to get back home for rest. The next day we purchased your album and we have been fans ever since with every Galactic Cowboys CD in our rack. So far our favorite is, "The Horse that Bud Bought" and we listen to it frequently. My wife and both of my daughters are all blind and as you can imagine our entertainment consists primarily of music. We have been greatful for the wonderful music produced by you and it breaks our hearts to see y'all have to depart and bring to an end what we feel is the best band in music history. We look forward to the release of your final album in June and a final tour should you choose to do so. We now reside in Dallas, so be sure to play here at least once. If I could afford to pay y'all to play a set of our favorite songs here at my house I would jump at the chance!

I'm not certain if we'll ever have the opportunity to shake your hands and say thank you in person, but we'd at least like to take this opportunity to tell you here. We appreciate the years of great music that you have produced. The Galactic Cowboys is like family in our home. God bless you, and may he be with you in your future individual endeavors.
