"What a long strange trip it has been..."

Guys, just want to say thanks for 10+ years of wonderful music. Just think about what was going on ten years ago...

I first heard GC while playing D&D at a friends apartment. He put on this disc and I thought "Gee, these guys sound like King's X!". He let me copy a tape of SIYF and I instantly became hooked. I remember listening to 103.5 in Chicago and how you guys were playing a show up there and the station was giving away free tickets for the SIYF tour. The next week, I found out about the first album and I spent the better part of the week looking for the album through Rockford and Chicago (finding it finally at a Best Buy buried in the G's). Needless to say, I burned out the tape deck in my 77 Maverick listening to the two albums.

My job moved me to Indiana and I didn't hear anything about you guys for months! Then all of a sudden, Metal Blade announces that they have signed you guys and Wally has joined the band. MF came out (got a free promo copy from some PR person for Metal Blade in NY) and, of course, went out and bought my own copy. Several weeks later, I heard that GC was going to play at some bar in Grand Rapids. Took my girlfriend who HATES hard rock music to the show (what a trooper, guess that's why I married her). What a small show, but the guys really turned it up to the 20 or so people in the audience.

I unfortunately missed seeing you guys the second time at the Metro in Chicago, the Fire Marshall had you guys start an hour early and when I walked in the door, I heard the last chord from Wally's guitar. KX put on a great show, but I missed hearing you guys.

Last time I saw you guys was in Cleveland opening for KX, what an awesome show, but I had a deep nagging thought that it was going to be the last time that I saw you guys live.

And here we are today, eight years later from being a single college dropout playing D&D to being married and adopting two fantastic little girls who are just starting to get into your music FINALLY (years of C&W exposure).

Thanks again guys....you really have done a great job over the past ten years.

ZMB (a.k.a. Brian)
